SPACE
The shape of the original premises was rectangular, with a total area of 100 sq.m.
We needed to place several functional areas on this spot: the showroom itself, which should have utility rooms for storing spare goods; checkout area; office space for 3 employees with desktops and computers; mini kitchen area; and a bathroom unit.

DESIGN
The design was based on “transparency”. The transparency of the company, which wanted to show as much as possible that they are together with the buyer and are not separated by blind partitions. Therefore, we made all the structures from a transparent material – plexiglass. It is easy to process, bends and is relatively inexpensive, and it also transmits light very well.
When we learned that people in wheelchairs often come to the store, we suggested that the customer round the room with plexiglass partitions. It also gave us the opportunity to use the corners that appeared to store spare products.

One of the client’s requests was to keep the texture of the floor from the 60s, it was made of terrazzo.
Since the store’s products are quite specific and there were quite a lot of them, that’s why all the racks, stands for goods, reception, etc. we decided to develop it ourselves and manufacture it with our contractors.
